Release Notes
2.6.5
New: Clicking on the "?" next to a blocked or allowed item affected by a rule will now have the button "Show Matched Rules".
New: Items in the main window affected by the blacklist will have a red background, by the whitelist a green one, and a standard rule gray. This may be disabled from the settings page.
Changed: When using JS Blocker after the trial period has expired and payment has not been verified, pay-for features will be disabled in the settings page.
Changed: StumbleUpon has been added to the whitelist to allow all frames.Changed: Use a local copy of jQuery instead of the external one hosted by Google.
Changed: Whitelist and blacklist rules will now appear in bold.
Fix: Misc. things.
2.6.4
Changed: Removed the setting to hide pay-for features.
Fix: The short URL confirmation feature was incorrectly marked as a pay-for feature. No payment is required to use this feature and the settings page has been updated to reflect this change.
2.6.3
New: A feature to ask for confirmation before navigating to short URLs has been added. This uses the LongURL.org service. It can be enabled from the Settings page under "Other Features".
New: When navigating to different URLs within frames, JS Blocker will now display the new URL in the popover. They will always appear under Allowed because this type of navigation cannot be prevented.
Changed: When viewing a frames data in the main window, the popover will no longer update. This avoids the constant switching back to the main page data when pages are doing a lot of stuff. Just close the popover and reopen to get the latest data, or go back to the main page's data.
Changed: Made the question marks next to items have a lower opacity so they're less distracting.
Changed: The settings page will now display within the currently open webpage instead of a new page.
2.6.2
Changed: An issue has been identified in the Windows version that would cause Safari to stop responding to user events when clicking on the page selector. Until a more permanent solution is found, clicking the select box has been disabled on the Windows version. Please use the frame navigator to switch between frames on webpages.
Fix: Resolves an issue where placeholders for blocked elements would not display.
2.6.1a
New: A setting has been added to hide the donator-only features from the settings page.
Fix: Resolves issues with temporary rule actions not working for non-donators.
2.6.1
Changed: Made it more clear what will happen when the trial expires by mentioning that it only refers to the donator-only features.
Changed: Creating temporary rules is no longer a donator-only feature.
2.6.0
New for Donators: Added new "other" rules: prevent webpages from disabling autocomplete, and ability to use a custom font for webpages.
New: All settings are now on their own dedicated page instead of within the Safari extension preferences. You can access this page by clicking "Settings" from the popover, or from the extension preferences.New: The script blocker can now be turned off.
New: A two-column layout makes it even easier to see at a glance what's allowed and what's blocked. The Allow/Block buttons have been removed in favor of clicking on the host/URL. To access the previous functionality, click the "?" to the left of an item.
New: Easier navigation between frames on webpages makes it more obvious when a page has inline frames.
Changed: The video blocker is now its own thing instead of part of embeds and objects. When updating to 2.6.0, previous embed, object, and video rules will copy over to the new video rules.
